MS Ireland is honoured to have show-jumper Jessica Kurten as an ambassador for the Society on Charity ICA Bootcamp. RTÉ's new TV show will take 16 personalities out of their comfort-zone to face the Irish Countrywomen's Association (ICA) mentors in a bid to raise money for their chosen cause.

Jessica Kurten was born in Northern Ireland. She competed in her first pony competition when she was only four years old. She represented Ireland at the Olympic Games and has excelled at the very highest levels of the sport internationally.

In the show's third programme tonight (Wednesday 10th August) Jessica joins pop singer Keavy Lynch (Barbarella & B'Witched), traditional musician Frankie Gavin and showband superstar Derek Burke (Crystal Swing) at the ICA's Domestic Economy HQ "An Grianán" in Termonfeckin. Leaving the glamour of the winner's arena behind her, Jessica tackles sewing, extreme cooking, interior decorating and some far from easy farm tasks in her bid to win a place in the Charity ICA Bootcamp Live Finals.

Jessica has raised €5,000 for MS Ireland for participating in tonight’s show. If she gets through tonight she enters the live finals and could win €20,000 and a percentage of proceeds from texts. If Jessica makes it through we'll be looking for supporters to come to ICA HQ with us next week and text for Jessica to win outright. Fingers crossed!

Tonight’s episode of 'Charity ICA Bootcamp' is broadcast on RTE One at 9.30pm, Wednesday 10th August.
