MS Ireland is calling on participants of all ages and abilities to take up the month-long May 50K fitness challenge in May in the run up to World MS Day on May 30th. Kelly Ryan, Limerick, who was diagnosed with MS just last November, will take on the fundraising challenge to support MS Ireland. With the Local and European elections just around the corner in June, MS Ireland has designed specifically for the MS community a tailored guide to voting and elections.
On April 10th, MS Ireland in conjunction with Oceans of Hope Challenge hosted the first “Introduction to Sailing” Day for people with MS in Dun Laoghaire. This was a wonderful opportunity for 8 lucky members of the Irish MS community to spend a day out in the Irish ocean learning all about sailing and themselves.
We are delighted to announce there will be another "Introduction to Sailing Day" on the 8th of May and you are invited to apply to join them at the Irish National Sailing and Powerboat School (INSS.ie) in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. This is an introductory course so all levels of experience welcome.

MS Ireland held the first Writers Workshop Webinar on Tuesday, 16th April with Trevis Gleason and Emma Rogan called “Living and Writing with MS”. This webinar will be of interest to anyone interested in the writing process whether you are experienced, a beginner or would love to write but don’t know how to get started.
With the launch of the Bray Celtic Camino Mouteira on Bray Seafront, last September, to mark the start of the Bray Camino Coastal route to St James’s Church, in Dublin, Jonathon Pierce and his mother, Marion, took the plunge and walked the 30.2km in November. But the journey for mother and son was only beginning.
