Information Day

Open invitation to people living with MS in Clare

  • Do you feel your needs around MS are not being heard?
  • Do you feel your interests  are not being catered for in the Clare area?
  • Do you sometimes feel isolated with nobody to share similar experiences with around MS or life in general?

The Clare branch of MS Ireland are trying to find ways to help bridge these gaps.

We can give people with MS, their carers/families and friends a forum to meet through our regular monthly meetings to discuss and develop ways to create supports and events for all age groups and backgrounds of people living with MS in Clare.

To ‘kick’ this off and to give us a chance to hear the experiences (good and bad) and ideas of as many people living with MS as possible, we are hosting an informal open coffee/information morning.

When: Monday, 29th September
Where:
Carrigoran Day Centre, Newmarket on Fergus
Time:
10am - 1pm

We are a small group who cover a large area and are eager to hear new ideas and ways for us all to support and help each other through our journey with MS. Therefore we would  really like  to encourage as many people as possible to come to this event as it is a chance for us to meet you and hear what you need, what your interests and ideas are and what works for you in terms of your MS.

John MacDonald, Community Worker for County Clare will be in attendance and will be happy to talk about services provided by MS Ireland with you. We also hope a number of other organisations will be in attendance on the morning to provide information on their services in the Clare area.

Hope you can join us!
