30th March The Unspeakable Bits Webinar “MS Money Matters”

The MS Ireland webinar series The Unspeakable Bits” returns on the March 30th online at 8.00pm.  This month the theme is ‘MS Money Matters” where the host Trevis L Gleason will talk about the planning for the 3 stages of life with MS with a panel of professionals covering financial planning, relevant law and social issues. We welcome everyone to our live webinars so if you would like to attend, please register for free here

The guests are Ruth Hennelly from Hennelly Financial Services, John Fahy from Fahy solicitors and Kathlyn Kershaw, MS Ireland North Dublin Community Worker.

Financial planning are topics most people think of in their advancing years.  People with MS often must think of them earlier in life.  According to our host Trevis “No matter where in the world you live, multiple sclerosis is an expensive disease.  There are many unexpected expenses that we incur and, often, our earning potential is reduced as well. From soon after diagnosis all the way through to our retirement years, there are financial challenges and decisions we need to consider when looking at those issues”.

The panel be answering questions from our MS community sent to us in advance, as well as from our live audience. We will be covering topics like wills, conservatorships, trusts and advanced directives.  We will be discussing topics on finance like planning, investing, pensions, early retirement, long-term care, health, and life insurance/assurances. We will also discuss topics like social protection and entitlements. Please give us your questions for the panel by commenting below, DMing or emailing your questions to fergalo@ms-society.ie
