Brain Awareness Week 2015

Raising awareness of living with a neurological condition in Ireland

9th - 15th March 2015

Brain Awareness Week is an international awareness campaign, highlighting the work of neurological organisations (like us) and the experiences and issues of the people it represents (like you). The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) coordinates the Irish events every year.

What's happening during Brain Awareness Week?

Saturday 7th March: Neurology Information Morning

Multiple Sclerosis: Relapsing Remitting, Progressive and Benign MS, Developments and Treatments in MS (with Q&A session)

Living with MS: The Psychology of Being Resilient, and Finding Contentment
There are needs that every human has. This is a workshop that will look at ways that help get the most you can with your health – nobody can control everything but everyone can have some influence over their own situation.

Venue: IWA Centre, The Glebe, Tuam, Co Galway

Brain Research in Ireland: Delivering on the potential

Time: 9am-1.30pm
Venue: Biomedical Sciences Building, Trinity College Dublin

Speakers include Professor Orla Hardiman, Eibhlin Monroe, Dr Graham Love.

Wednesday 11th March: Wellness morning

MS Ireland and Epilepsy Ireland will host a  Wellness morning for people with neurological conditions in Donegal.

Thursday 12th March: Public Lecture "Looking after your Brain Today and Tomorrow : A guide to Brain Health"
